Shipping Terms & Liability Policy

1. Shipping Methods

We utilize all available and reliable means of delivery including:

  • Ground Transport – For regional and domestic deliveries
  • Air Freight – For urgent or long-distance orders
  • Third-Party Logistics (Customer-Specified) – Upon request and confirmation from the buyer

Customers may specify their preferred shipping method at the time of order approval. KET supports coordination where possible to ensure smooth dispatch.

2. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are not automatically included in the invoice. They are discussed and agreed upon during the order approval and processing stage.

If a buyer requests or specifies a non-standard delivery method, such as using a personal courier or specialized service, the buyer shall bear the full cost and coordination responsibilities of that shipment.

Note: Custom shipping requests must be submitted at the time of order confirmation.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines vary based on method and destination. Standard delivery durations are:

  • Local Deliveries: 1–3 business days
  • Regional Ground Shipping: 2–5 business days
  • Air Freight (Domestic or International): 1–3 business days

While we strive to meet estimated delivery timelines, KET shall not be held liable for unavoidable delays caused by weather, customs, courier strikes, or other third-party logistical failures.

4. Ownership & Risk

All products remain the property of TDK Networks E.A LTD until payment is received in full. Upon dispatch, risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the customer, including during transit unless insured otherwise.

For shipments arranged through a customer’s preferred courier, the responsibility for tracking and delivery lies entirely with the customer.

5. Shipping Damages or Loss

All items are inspected and securely packaged before dispatch. In the event of damage or non-delivery:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery date
  • Provide photographic proof and any courier reference numbers
  • We will initiate claims with the shipping provider where applicable

For deliveries via buyer-nominated couriers, KET assumes no responsibility for transit damage, loss, or insurance claims.

6. Customer Responsibility

  • Ensure delivery address is correct and accessible during business hours
  • Designate an authorized recipient where required
  • Arrange collection from nominated courier offices or pickup points if applicable

Failure to comply may result in re-delivery charges or delays, which will be billed to the customer.

7. Agreement to Shipping Terms

By completing a purchase through ket.co.ke, you acknowledge and agree to these Shipping Terms & Liability conditions in full.
