Warranty & Returns Policy

1. Manufacturer Warranty

All goods sold by KET are covered by the original equipment manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods, terms, and conditions vary by product.

Coverage typically includes repair or replacement for manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover:

  • Misuse or mishandling
  • Electrical damage not caused by the product
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Cosmetic or accidental damage

KET is not liable for business interruption, data loss, or other indirect losses due to product issues or delays.

2. Warranty Claims & Facilitation

Warranty claims must be made directly to the manufacturer via official channels. KET assists by:

  • Providing purchase proof
  • Advising on process and timelines
  • Helping with logistics where applicable

KET does not guarantee outcomes or timing of warranty services.

3. Return of Goods Policy

Returns are only accepted upon approval and issuance of a Return Goods Number (R.G.N).

Conditions for return include:

  • Product is unused and in resalable condition
  • Original packaging and accessories included
  • Request made within 7-14 days (manufacturer dependent)

Unauthorized returns will be rejected and returned to sender.

4. Wrong Product Orders

KET is not liable for incorrect orders placed by buyers. In exceptional cases, returns may be accepted with up to a 50% restocking fee.

Return shipping costs in such cases are borne by the buyer.

5. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

  • Software and license keys
  • Opened or unsealed electronics
  • Clearance and promotional items
  • Customized or modified goods

6. Goods Shipped Within and Outside Kenya

Within Kenya: KET coordinates local warranty and returns. Buyer covers return transport unless otherwise agreed.

Outside Kenya: Warranty depends on global support from the manufacturer. Buyer is responsible for customs, duties, and both-way shipping fees.

7. Limitation of Liability

KET shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to the product purchase price.

This does not affect statutory consumer rights where applicable.
